Upon qualifying as an Engineer, Mo began a lucrative career in the automotive industry. But as his fame as a magician spread, he was spending many nights and most weekends performing at private and corporate events. He stepped onto the international scene in 2006 with a tour of the United Kingdom, performing at private events and running master classes for magicians, before flying to Sweden for the World Championships of Magic. Mo finally resigned from his engineering career in 2010, so that he could pursue his passion for magic fulltime.

He has steadily established himself as one of South Africa’s premiere magicians, and has toured his shows through Angola, Namibia, Zambia, India, Belgium, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Sweden, America and the UK. His peers have nicknamed him “The James Bond of Magic” due to his unique style. In 2010, he was named “Top of the Charts” in South Africa by international publication Gulf News and was the only magician to be featured on this select list of entertainers.

In 2015, “Magic with Mo” was commissioned by the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC). Season One ran from Oct 2015 to January 2016, and was the 2nd most watched locally produced show on SABC3. Following the success of his TV show, Mo Magic toured South Africa in 2016, with his live 90 minute show, combining mentalism, clean comedy, and amazing magic, ending with a dramatic Vegas style illusion. His third one-man show, “Moments of Wonder,” launched in 2017 for a hit run in KZN.

It’s a natural progression for a business minded, intellectually inclined, magician to raise the bar. Merging motivation, blue ocean thinking, and Magic, Mo introduced his motivational talk show, “Amazing You!” which convinces audiences that “the amazing you” in all of us is capable of making dreams a reality, thus cementing his place as an inspiring speaker and MC on the corporate circuit. Mo is a member of The South African Magical Society (affiliated to the Magic Circle, London). BOOK NOW!
